Non-native invasive plant species listed within Schedule 9 of The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 are species that are currently established in the wild and continue to pose threat to native biodiversity and habitats.

These invasive plants can ecologically supress local native plant species which causes both physical and biological damage to these native plants which can lead to areas being overrun with invasive species.
